Wednesday's Writing Update: Stats, ABNA, and Goals

Happy Wednesday!

I have January's stats for you.
Submissions: 0 (unless you count sending Starred in ABNA)
Acceptances: 0
Rejections: 0
Submissions out there: 0 (I'm starting to miss sending stories out there.)
Word Count: 12,715
Pages Edited: 594
I did read, write, and/or edit almost every day in January.

On Friday, January 27th I entered Starred into Amazon's Breakout Novel Award (ABNA). I'm not expecting much with it, since I wrote the novel back in November, but I figured I would give it a shot.

This Monday, I had a new short story idea. It's a shame I don't have the time at the moment to delve into it. *frowns*

My February goals include:
1. Self-publishing Defying Gravity and going on a virtual book tour with it (February 14 - March 8)
2. Finish writing/editing Fighting Gravity, novelette #2 in the Gravity series featuring Marissa and Phoebus's story.
3. Finish editing The Phoenix Prophetess so I can start querying agents.
4. Write two more stories in The Foxwick Chronicles: Women of Foxwick.
5. Write flash fiction, including the 26 flash fiction pieces for A to Z Flashes of Foxwick, or my A to Z Challenge entries.

I'm trying to stay ahead of things, but I keep feeling like I'm falling behind. Of course, a few of these things on the list can be moved to March as well.

So what are you up to this week?

Holy frijole, girl! Your February goals are INSANE! They sound fairly impossible to me, but I guess if you can get 594 pages edited AND almost 13,000 words written in one month, it sounds doable. Best of luck with it all!

Your falling behind is still light years ahead of me.

Sounds like you have some good (ambitious!) goals for the month. Keep it up. You're doing awesome!

I love the idea of getting ahead on the A-Z posts. Might have to do wthat myself.

Wow! That's a big load. You've got a long weekend coming up, though. :) I finished the first draft of my short story. Now I can do some A to Z posts and WFR revisions. I really wanted the first round of revisions done this month, but now I'm aiming for the end of March.

You are a ball of energy! Congratulations on your launch and upcoming blog tour.

My goals? well... February is already a week in. My only goal is to rewrite/rethink a chapter a day of my WIP. It's February 8. I'm still mulling chapter 7. hmmm...

Hi Cherie, I'm finally making my rounds for the campaign!

You have got a lot on your plate this month, I don't know how you do it all. If you have a cloning machine, will you let me borrow it? :D

Wow, you get a lot done - I need some of your energy! :-) I also entered ABNA - this is my fourth time, so I'm much more relaxed this time than in previous years.
