Writing Update: September Goals / Cover Reveal of Kitsy Clare's Private Internship

Happy Wednesday!

Although the month started our rocky, I have made some progress in my goals and I've decided to take my own advice of one day at a time a step further to one thing at a time. So I'm working on what needs to be finished first or what I hope to get accomplished first. I finally finished my outline for Reforged, which I have to say will be awesome if I can do the story justice, I wrote a new contemporary fantasy short story titled "Paper Lanterns," and I've been proofreading Twisted Earths, the upcoming Untethered Realms anthology. Twisted Earths will be up for pre-order soon with an official release date of October 14th.

Here are my goals for September:
  • Finish editing and proofreading People of Foxwick and Their Neighbors. Once this is completed, I can contact my cover artist to finalize the print cover, so I can obtain my print proof, do my print proof proofread, and publish this 80,000-word short story collection.
  • Write in Remarked. Since I'll mainly be working on People of Foxwick during the work week, I plan to take weekends to work on Remarked.
What are your September goals?

Good luck with your goals! I'm hoping to get a lot of editing done in September, and maybe start a new fantasy WIP.

Good luck with your goals. Hopefully September will be a better month. I just got back my first round of edits today for D&D #1. So that comes first and then back to writing D&D #2 which I want finished before the end of September. I'm feeling some pressure today!

Wow! Great goals and great progress! Love your updates, Cherie, because they inspire me to get moving when I've slowed down and they keep me writing when I'm feeling "woe is me, the project is too huge" kind of feelings.
My goal update will be up on my blog tomorrow, but for now, let's just say I've made much progress this month and still have more to go. :)

I'm so jealous, Cherie. You are getting so much done!
I need to start setting some goals for the autumn and winter months. Juggling two brands is quite time consuming but I'm hoping to book more school visits come September. Once I've tackled that, I want to work on my second children's book and read some of my TBR list, including your Reborn=)
I'd really like to also focus on the edits to my suspense novel... sooner than later I hope!

Yeah, one thing at a time sometimes works better for actually getting things done, I find. Good luck with September. I'm planning on writing a lot, too.

I'm revealing her cover, too! :) Good luck on your goals. One thing at a time works the best for me, too. Otherwise I feel overwhelmed.

Can you email me the review of Reborn by In'Tdale? I don't have the right Adobe to open it and I want to know what they said!!!

Good luck on all your goals! I need to be better about planning. I kind of just go with the flow, and the flow doesn't always take me to the most productive places. :-)
