J is for ... No Joy in the Icy Land of Wintermill
In the south, there lies the icy land of Wintermill. For nine months out of the year, Wintermill is covered in snow and ice. It’s a harsh cold land, and their people are querulous and hardy. To Wintermill’s south is Snow Mountains. To their east is Merrilea Sea, and their northern neighbors are Foxwick and Valdale.
Wintermill’s royalty keeps away from their people. The ice castle sits in the midst of a great frozen lake. There’s only one safe entrance to the castle, which is a frozen path lit by magical flames. The royal family always has magical abilities, and they don’t trust their fellow Wintermillians, since they have often revolted in the past.

I wouldn't want to live in an icy land like this but I love reading about it!
That sounds like an intriguing place. Although, I'm not very fond of snow. lol
You paint an icy, but beautiful landscape here. Nice!
There is no JOY. I do not like winter, am no fan of snow and I like being able to trust.
The landscape is beautifully painted. I'd look at it on a post card but I wouldn't want to go there.
My first thought was Narnia when Jadis rules, and then I got into the whole part with the frozen lake and the bridge, and wow, a whole new cool world!
You're imagination is awesome!!!
Sounds like they might revolt for a reason...
This sounds like a really interesting place to live in for some reason.

I'd be moving down to Foxwick!
I bet things are nice and cosy in the castle, not so much for everyone else!
I like the world you have created.
It sounds beautiful but so miserable! I would be in front of the castle's fire!
I don't blame Wintermill's royalty. There's nothing more revolting than a revolt! :-)
Nine months of snow and ice?! Yikes! I don't think I'd be able to survive that, since I've never experienced even a minute of snow!
Sounds like an unhealthy relationship... but snow is awesome!
