I can't believe it is less than a week until Christmas, less than two weeks to a new year. If anyone can find out what happened to the rest of the year, please let me know.
Since The Phoenix Prophetess is my main project for the rest of the year, I've been taking it pretty easy when it comes to writing and editing. In fact, I've gotten nothing done in finishing up the last third of the rewrite. It's nice having this break, and I look forward to jumping back into everything come January 1st. I hope I can always plan to slow down the latter half of December. *crosses fingers*
You may have seen my post on Monday, but I'll be taking a blogger break from December 22-January 1. My last post this year will be the cover art reveal of Christine Rains' The Alpha on Friday, December 21st. Then, I'll be back in time for IWSG post on Wednesday, Janurary 2nd.
The reason for the break is because I'm off from the day job from December 21-January 1. The home internet is a bit spotty and quick to die on us, so it's hard to comment on blogs as often as I might like. Plus, I think I deserve a bit of a break. I'm really excited about my time off from the day job too. This will be my longest vacation since I started working in August 2007.
I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday and a great new year!
Do you have any holiday plans? Looking forward to the new year?
