Happy Halloween!!
I'm still catching up on things from my five-day weekend last week, but I'm almost there in time for NaNo tomorrow!
Nightmare Ever After and Spells: Ten Tales of Magic are both available!
A
Horror Novella
The Sequel to Once Upon a December Nightmare
Almost ten years have passed since that fateful December night.
But the monster is hungry again.
As the killings start again New Haven, Virginia, FBI Agent Timothy “Tim” O’Conner sends for the lone survivor from the ’02 murders to help him catch a killer. Cassie Richards wants nothing to do with the monster that killed her friends or the agent’s investigation, but she can’t forget the night that has haunted her nightmares. She returns to Virginia in search for closure, but will she be able to catch and kill a legend in time?
Some reviews of Nightmare Ever After:
“Get ready for another terrifying ride as you turn pages to discover the killer’s identity and who he’ll pick as his next victim.” – Cher Green, author of Escape to Love
“The mystery haunts the reader through the pages, slowly unveiling the horror. The story has a definite X-Files feel.” – Christine Rains, author of L’il Gal Al and the Zombies of Amarillo

Both available now? Congratulations! And I'll just go buy your book.
Wren Doloro (my username) is indeed Nanoing and you are my buddy! I am ready but then I am a pantser, I am always ready plot or not lol.
My favorite part of Halloween are the costumes (I wish we dressed up more often) and the theme of spirits and the dead. Old traditions said that in this night (and the period around it) the veils between the worlds thin.
I also really like spirit work like meditations on my ancestors. That is something I will do tonight :)
I LOVE the Nightmare cover! So creepy. Congratulations on the Lady Bard story, that's awesome!
Happy Halloween! :)
Congratulations on both story and book!!! That's awesome.
My favorite part of Halloween is dressing up and seeing all the other awesome costumes.
and I'm participating in NaNo, but I'm not really ready.
This is wonderful news, Cherie. Congrats. Wow, you're kicking butt!
I love the horror movies. Especially the original Halloween :D That is the only movie from before my generation that still scares the pants off of me (kidding. My pants stay on. The popcorn is usually on the ground though...)

Free is fun :) Happy Halloween!
"five-day weekend" <- How every week should end.
No NaNo for me this year, but I'm cheering loudly from the sidelines for all who are participating. Looks like someone has already been productive this year though. ;-)
Awesome treat! Love the sound of those stories in the anthology too. You're in good company. My favorite part of Halloween is seeing everyone in costume. And the candy. I'll admit it! *LOL* I still can't believe it's nearly NaNo time. So much to do, so little time!
Congratulations, Cherie!! Two books. That's fabulous.
My favorite part of Halloween is it always makes me think of family... of all the birthdays shared with my cousin, sister, and uncle, and all the Halloween-themed parties we shared. In October, it's like I'm 8 again.
Ooh, you are NaNo-ing? Good luck! And congrats on BOTH of your releases :)
Great story titles and blurbs for the anthology!
My favorite part of Halloween is the creepy autumn atmosphere. The sense that something's just around the corner or going on behind you. :)
I'm finding it hard to believe tomorrow is November 1, too! I'm just relieved I finished my novel's plot synopsis--hoping that will keep me on track.
I can't believe it's Nov. 1st tomorrow! Good luck with NaNo and rewriting one of your manuscripts. I'm so not good with NaNo at all, so hopefully you are. ;)
Congratulations on the books! They both sound fascinating. :)
My favorite part of Halloween is the candy.
I would love to participate in NaNoWriMo- but this November is too crazy at work. Maybe next year! Wishing you much success!

Congrats, Cherie! That's great. I just released a couple spooky short stories as well. :)
Happy (belated) Halloween! Loving how eerie the cover for Nightmare Ever After looks! Also, good luck with NaNo! I won't be participating this year, since I'm already in the middle of other projects. So weird to think how November is technically here already--didn't it just turn October?!
As for my favorite part of Halloween...gosh, I could list things forever! I always have heaps of fun giving loved ones Halloween gifts. Reading spooky books and watching equally spooky movies is something I love about Halloween as well!

Congrats on both releases. I like the cover for Nightmare Ever After,it looks creepy!
Hope NaNoWriMo goes well.
Congrats Cherie! I love Halloween from dressing up to carving pumpkins but I'm such a chicken when it comes to scary movies and books, lol! The one sentence blurb of LADY BARD sounds interesting though and I like the idea of having ten stories by ten authors. Nightmare Ever After however sounds like a super scary read! But, it's set in Virginia, and well you know how I feel about good ole VA! (;
Congratulations! My favorite part of Halloween is when my kids come back and dump the bags of candy on the floor. They are never happier. :)
Congratulations Cherie!
I used to live in NZ and we had trick and treaters - I would just be checking out all the awesome costumes! Some kids are so creative.
I'll download a copy of Nightmare Ever After this weekend! And I have you and your book spotlighted as my Author of the Week. Good luck with sales and everything!
