Remember fantasy chat? Boy, it seems like so long ago that we had one since the A-Z Challenge. By overwhelming majority, people asked for more tips on worldbuilding, so starting in June, I'll be featuring lessons on building your fantasy world. These posts will be on the 2nd Monday each month and last at least through August, most likely longer.
So stay tuned for "The World and Maps" on June 11th.
Have you read any good fantasy lately?

Oh, I'll miss most of these. I take July and August off for blogging. Hopefully, I can backtrack when I return. ;D
That'll be an interesting series to read. :)
I recently reread Tamora Pierce's "Lioness" series.
World-building is the part that I enjoy the most about writing.
I love your Fantasy Chat posts. I wouldn't miss them! I just finished reading an urban fantasy but it wasn't particularly noteworthy.
Sounds good to me :)
I've read quite a bit of dark fantasy recently, so I'm switching to more traditional fantasy for a bit to whittle down my TBR pile. Then, I think a smidgeon of Steampunk :)
Ooo! Great topic! World building is the best! I think the last fantasy book I read was ALLOY OF LAW. And yes-- I think everything by Brandon Sanderson is incredible!
This is one of the toughest aspects of spec fic, making it realistic and all that. Need as much help as I can get. This is so exciting! Thanks in advance for doing this.
I just read THE HUNT (YA dystopia) and it has mucho world-building unbelievability in it. It needs help. There are so many I read that don't get it quite right.
Sounds good! I'll pop back for those.
I am reading The Girl of Fire and Thorns now, and it's good so far.
Oooh, fantasy! Oooh, worldbuilding! Two of my favorite things - I'll be stopping by for sure.
I just posted a review of your short story on goodreads. I enjoyed the first in the series and can't wait to get to the others.
