Happy Wednesday!
My story "Silver Hand Sam" is now available from Wicked East Press's Cutlass & Musket anthology. You can buy it here.
I'm having several giveaways going on. If you want to win a copy of Nicole Zoltack's Woman of Honor, click here. If you want to win a copy of Aubrie Dionne's Nebula's Music, click here. I'm giving away an ARC copy of Tracy Deeb's Tempest Rising here.
Also, if you get a chance, please vote for the finalists in my Flash Fiction Blogfest. It's still a close race between them, and I don't yet know what I'm going to do if there is a tie. We'll figure that out when we come to it. I'll announce the winners on Friday.
I quit a secret group project last week. Yeah, I'm normally not a quitter, but the project had taken over my life. I was so stressed out that I couldn't focus on anything. So, I quit, and I'm glad I did.
I've gotten some things done since then. I have three editing projects I'm working on (two with PWP and one with Hazard Editing). I hope to get some editing and rewriting done on Virtuoso later this week. I'm behind schedule again, but it'll be okay. I have a short story I'd like to write this week too. I need to get started on that.
Well, that's the main things this week. I still haven't heard anything from submissions yet.
Does anyone have some news?

If the secret project was really stressing you out that much, then good thing you quit. You're definitely not a quitter! You've accomplished so much in the past few years. ^_^ I've been submitting short stories these past few days. Hopefully I'll hear some good news soon.
As long as you're writing, you're not behind schedule. Give yourself some credit. How cool that you have a story in an anthology!
I'm know what you mean about not being a quitter, but having to stop doing something that's throwing your life out of balance. It's good to focus on the big picture. I used to blog on a group blog and I had to leave because all the blogging was leaving no time for anything else.
Sounds like you've had a productive writing week!
I can say for Wednesday, your week has been far more productive than mine has. I think mine has something to do with the weather though. But I agree- if you're writing, you're not behind. What do deadlines mean anyway? Any little bit counts!

Sometimes it's better to know when to say no. And Monday I have a HUGE announcement! So excited, I can hardly wait...
