Yesterday, I worked on "They." I've mentioned the short story a couple of times, and now I've decided to tell you what it is about. "They" is a post-apocalyptic story set in July 2013. After a solar storm strikes earth, everything changed, especially people and animals. The world has gone crazy, and the few left sane have to regroup and decide what to do. Three families set off from their home and head south toward Washington, D.C. in hopes to find security in a collapsed government. Despite the dangers they face on the open road, the worst might be in the capital as they come across the elusive "they."
I've only written about 1,000 words in the story so far, but part of me hopes to finish it by the end of the week.
Today, I'm working on my first novella Panther Moon. I finished the synopsis, and I'm writing chapter one. Is it sad I am already loving the story? It's so much fun to write, and I hope to get a good chunk of chapter one written and possibly finished today. *crosses fingers*
Tomorrow's writing plans, write the flash fiction piece for Friday.

Hehe! Yep, you're right. I am targeting them. They're taking stories as they come, so I thought I would try. If nothing else, I'll have a new story to send elsewhere, if it doesn't work out.

Aubrie - Hehe! You'll just have to wait and read "They" to find out. I'll send it to you once I'm done with it. I am having a lot of fun with Panther Moon. Marci Baun, head of Wild Child and Freya's Bower, likes the idea of the novella too. *grins* I love the title to it. It took a while for it to come about, but once it did, that was it.
