Rejection - Only One

I got another rejection letter about "Only One" from Clarksworld Magazine. At least it was their nice rejection letter. I do hear that they have one that is a flat out rejection if they don't like it at all, but this was one where they have hundreds of submissions and only chose twelve a year rejection letters. I'll try to submit it to somewhere else this afternoon. I haven't given up hope for the story that is hard to place. I don't even know quite how to categorize it. It borders on the paranormal, and the ending could be considered almost horror. Perhaps that is why it is hard to pick up. Oh, well. I'll submit it elsewhere and try again. I'm still waiting to hear from MMP about "Once Upon a December Nightmare", and it'll be a few more months before I hear from Wolfsinger Publications about "Hell Has No Fury" for the All About Eve anthology.

At least they got back to you fast! I don't know why MMP is taking so long?

Still keeping my fingers crossed though!

Yeah! If I'm going to be rejected, then I want to know it as soon as possible, so I don't waste my time in wondering about the story. I still don't know about MMP. I would email them, but they do say it can take 4-6 weeks, so I don't want to be a bother.
