Submission - Only One

I submitted "Only One" today to The Pedestal Magazine. I thought it was worth a shot. I've been using ralan.com to find places to submit it. It is the last one on the list of semi- to pro- payments that I'll submit it to, I think. Then, I'll be moving to the paying section. I think it would help to know how to classify the story in order to know where to send it. If anyone wants to read it and give me their opinion on what type of piece it is, then I'll be glad to send it to you. It's a very short piece...a little over a 1000 words. I have a shortened version of it too that is under a 1000 words, but I personally like the little bit longer version better. I might eventually have to send the shortened version out though. *shrugs* ,

The Pedestal Magazine has a response time of 4-8 weeks, so it could be a while. The other two places I submitted it rejected the story within a few days. We'll have to wait and see.
