P is for ... Prequel to Foxwick
In 2014, I plan to start writing the Founding Foxwick trilogy. Right now, the titles are tentatively named: The Magician’s Rule, The Thief’s Light, and The Mute’s Voice. Before Foxwick, the Great Four ruled the land: the Wizard, the Witch, the Sorceress, and the Magician. The Magician is the last one standing, and he works to create his vision of the world and get rid of other magical folk, but I have a feeling they'll have something to say about his plans. *grins*
An excerpt from the histories:
Once upon a time, the Great Four ruled the land.
The Witch was beautiful and warm. She sought to defend the land and aided the harvests, but she scoffed at the Magician’s protection against the Wizard and Sorceress. She was the first to die.
The Wizard ignored the people and kept to his magical ways. He sought power and intelligence. A freak lightning storm cut him down.
Four became two.
The Sorceress embodied evil and kept the people in fear. The Magician had a plan to stop her, so he used a young woman who embodied light and dark. She blocked the sun’s light while the Magician destroyed the Sorceress.
Four became one.
The Magician ruled over the land, and the people cheered for him.
And interestingly enough, by doing these Foxwick posts this month, I've come up with the idea of a futuristic Foxwick novel(s), featuring Foxwick as Foxwick City. It should be fun, but I can't see getting a chance to write them until 2016. *sighs*

Getting to know more about Foxwick is very enlightening. It's also great that doing these posts have inspired another spin off for a series. Even if it doesn't get to come until 2016, you're on a roll :-)
I told you - this series could go on forever as you continue to expand in every direction.
This series is so awesome! I'm looking forward to reading it for years to come!
I love your ambitions and plans as a writer, and that you have plots planned out for the next few years.
I have plans like that too, and now, I must get back to work about put the foundations down for them.
Sounds like some very interesting stories to be told.
That sounds awesome! Having a writing plan is great. I wish I knew my plans after this next book.
Prequels are fun to write. I'm working on one myself. Good luck with everything!
Wow. The prequel sounds great, but that future Foxwick one really has my attention. Hm, 2016 isn't that far away, right?!
This sounds so terrific. But 2016? Can't wait!!
I love the futuristic idea! Simply Sarah
