F is for Foxwick, Of Course!

This year's A to Z Challenge theme is: All About Foxwick.

F is for ... Foxwick, Of Course!

F has to be for Foxwick, since that’s what we’re talking about this month.

Foxwick is a quaint kingdom. They’ve been a kingdom for over a thousand years. Various kingdoms and places surround Foxwick, which keeps Foxwick on its toes. They strive for peace, but war plagues them. Whether their southern neighbor Wintermill is sending soldiers or their northern neighbor Lochhollow has decided to attack Foxwick, this kingdom can always count on their eastern neighbor Valdale.

The castle is nestled right against the town. Since the kingdom was created, the people have never revolted and had mainly great kings rule over them.

How many more years does Foxwick have? I don’t know. Hopefully many, many more.

The Women of Foxwick is in my TBR pile. After April I vow I will read again. Never, never, never do A-Z and Camp Nano I thought I had it figured out... I had it wrong ;)

But I will survive.

Sounds like an interesting position to be in. Talk about nasty neighbors.

Three cheers for Foxwick!

Every fictional kingdom needs its uppity neighbor or two, or it'd be boring to read about it! Foxwick seems pretty cool based on what I've read about it so far...;)

nothing like a kingdom!! sweet!

It had to be Foxwick! That's the thing about kingdoms - they have to have neighbours or some terrible landscape features around the edges. You have sooo many possibilities for interaction.

I enjoyed the summary of Foxwick. A government preferring peace but being embroiled in war sounds all too familiar. I'm sure Foxwick has many more years left! :-)
