Wednesday's Writing Update: Blogger Buddy Fail and Writing

Happy Wednesday!

Being off for Presidents' Day has really messed with my head. *laughs* I almost forgot I hadn't written up today's post. Oops.

Yes, I've been a bad blogger buddy. I've been in epic fail mode since February, it seems. I can't keep up and find my happy medium. It'll get there, but it might take longer than I'd hoped. If you've followed my blog and I haven't followed yours yet, please leave a comment with your blog link. I love following back, but sometimes I miss people who follow and don't comment. As for the first campaigner challenge, mine will be up tomorrow, and I'm slowly making the rounds.

The Defying Gravity book blog tour is going well. I've really enjoyed hearing from people. So far the reviews are good, but I'd always be open to more honest reviews, so if you would like a copy to read and review on Amazon/Goodreads/etc., then let me know. I'd be happy to send you a Kindle copy or PDF.

I've adjusted my February goals. The Phoenix Prophetess edits have been moved to March. I figure I'll write the rest of my A to Z Flashes of Foxwick for the A to Z Challenge in March too. I'm still trying to finish up my flash fiction for March's Fridays. Plus, I'm busy writing the first draft of Fighting Gravity. I have the cover art for it already. You'll see it soon. I promise. It's awesome. Even better than Defying Gravity.

So what have you been up to?

I've felt CRAZY behind lately--too many distractions. So I totally sympathize! And well done on getting good reviews! I hope they keep coming!

I'm catching up this month on a lot of my writing. Need to finish asap, because March and April will be super busy. But I love writing, so for me Feb has been a happy month so far.

Hey, my review is honest LOL! I love it. It's exactly what I like to read.

I've been struggling to get to all the blogs as well...so don't feel bad. Comes with the territory sometimes! :)

That's a lot of flash fiction. Yet I can't wait to read it. :) I've been working on blog posts and my short story for the month. I don't think I'm going to get back to my WFR revisions today. Maybe I'll just do the Foretelling. That's going to take me long enough on its own!

Thanks for the bit of A to Z name-dropping. I'm trying to finish up A to Z posts as well. Please keep encouraging others to join us in the April Challenge. We are currently on a push to get 1000 signed up before March 1 (next Thursday).

Sounds like things are busy! If it makes you feel better, I've been a blogger slacker too. I'm just getting back into the swing of things. It was the Dec vacation that did it. Lol.

You've had a lot going on - easy to forget stuff, trust me! I have my topics planned but I won't start writing my A to Z posts until March either. Too much going on right now with my upcoming release and tour!

Good to hear your tour is going well. As busy as you are, it sounds like you are on top of things.

I'm trying to write up some blog posts in advance so that I don't go completely silent when the baby comes but I'm also trying to get as much editing done on my own stories now that I've halted my freelance editing work that more editing is getting done than anything. Although that does mean I'm that much closer to querying. :) I think, lol

I've been sick, which generally means I've been complaining a lot and hoping people will feel sorry for me. Writing wise, I've got some heavy revisions to do on a couple of short stories. Then I'm back to finishing up a first draft of a novel.
