Since my short story "Only One" was not accepted by Abyss and Apex, I went back to searching for a new home for it. Using ralan.com, I found another place that accepts fiction that is less than 4,000 words long. Today, I submitted "Only One" to Clarkesworld Magazine. I have no clue if they will accept the story or not. I doubt that they will, but I figured I would give it a shot. I should know quickly one way or another if it is accepted. I've found at least two other places to submit the short story, if Clarkesworld turns it down.
On other news, I hope to get the next chapter to The Phoenix Prophetess done. I don't know if I will, but I really should try. I want to do a little something different with this chapter, so I'll have to see how it works out.
