I got an email today from Abyss and Apex webzine. They passed on my flash fiction story "Only One". It is not the type of story for everyone, and I guess it wasn't their thing. The person was very nice about it. They thanked me for submitting it and then said to please submit something else at a later time, if I wished. They didn't give any reason why they passed on the story, but that's okay. I didn't know if it was something they were looking for. It is a difficult story to place somewhere. Perhaps I'll find another home for it somewhere else eventually.
At least, "The Case of the Tom Cat" is doing well so far. I still don't know about my other two stories out there, but we'll wait and see.
