IWSG: Monthly Inspiration | The Last Wattpad Wednesdays

IWSG was created by the Captain Ninja Alex J. Cavanaugh. To visit the IWSG participants, please click here.
Last year I wrote a post under the same title, Monthly Inspiration. You can read that post here. The past few years I have found inspiration within The Art of Success calendar. Each month has a beautiful picture and an inspiring quote. Today, I'll share the quotes with you from the 2015 calendar.

“It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.” – Edward Hillary

“Style is a reflection of your attitude and your personality.” – Shawn Ashmore

“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.” – Martin Luther

“If a man knows not what harbor he seeks, any wind is the right wind.” – Lucius Annaeus Seneca

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” – Buddha

“It is always the simple that produces the marvelous.” – Amelia Barr

“Happiness resides not in possessions, and not in gold, happiness dwells in the soul.” – Democritus

“Not all those who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolkien

“Never look down on anyone unless you’re helping them up.” – Jesse Jackson

“When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.” – Chinese Proverb

“Noble deeds that are concealed are most esteemed.” – Blaise Pascal

“Some succeed because they are destined to, but most succeed because they are determined.” – Henry Van Dyke

I hope 2016 will be even more inspirational for us all.

What are your insecurities this month?

Read Reborn from the beginning or the final chapter, Chapter Thirty-Eight. Yes, the complete edition of Reborn is now available for people to read on Wattpad, and this is the end of my Wattpad Wednesdays, at least until I find something else to post on Wattpad.

Great quotes, Cherie. I must get hold of one of those calendars! Congrats on all you have achieved this year. I've thoroughly enjoyed following your blog this year and look forward to what awaits us in 2016. Hopefully, lots more success stories :) Have a great Christmas!!

I'm going to have to look for a 2016 calendar like that. Love the quotes.

Awesome inspirational quotes! My insecurity today is that Brandon's allergies seem to be getting worse. I really hope he'll get better and we won't have to get rid of the cats! :(

With a looming deadline ahead, the only inspirational quote I can cling to is that of a wise little green guy - "Do. Or do not. There is no try."

Love the quotes. I had to pause on Optimism and Determination. My hubby is the overly optimistic one and I'm the determined one, but together we make a great team. I should print a few of those and plaster them next to my computer.

Those are all inspiring quotes. Thank you for sharing!

I loved the quotes. I am a quote crazy person, so grabbed them for my file. My favorite...

“When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills.” – Chinese Proverb

That is what I need to do right now. Great post.

Same insecurity as usual. That I'll never finish my story. Other than that, I'm doing great. :)

Congrats on finishing the story on Wattpad. It will be interesting to see how you viewer stats continue to increase as time goes by.

I think my favorite is Buddha in May.

That's cool that you completed Reborn on Wattpad. Have you found it helped your audience?

I think Martin Luther's quote and the Chinese Proverb about the wall and the windmills. Really wonderful, uplifting quotes!

Congrats on getting the full version of Reborn on Wattpad.

I like December's. There have been times I've wondered about giving up writing, but then decide I'm too stubborn to and keep going.

Those quotes are beautiful and so true.

Mine mainly stem from me sort of actually wanting to write when I know I shouldn't.
