His was a tremendous loss for the publishing industry. While there may be new authors to offer something in Crichton's absence, the world will never be the same again without this literary juggernaut.Jeff Beeslerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17935580053176710609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552707317670752823.post-63042763548109622202011-04-04T12:25:19.148-04:002011-04-04T12:25:19.148-04:00awesome c tribute post. he's always been a fav...awesome c tribute post. he's always been a fave of mine.
happy c day!Tara Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07587802105993889515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8552707317670752823.post-82837021442350168632011-04-04T12:00:07.845-04:002011-04-04T12:00:07.845-04:00Hi!

Although he couldn't really write characters worth a damn (especially women - yikes), he was chock full of big ideas and a complete master of setting up scenarios that go horribly, beautifully wrong.

I remember reading somewhere that he started writing novels as a way to pay for medical school. I mean, who can pull that off? Amazing. He also created the tv show ER.

In interview, he seemed like a great guy.
