U is for ... Umbria, the First Main Character
The first character I created in Foxwick is Umbria.
There was a call for assassin stories, and I thought that would be fun. I knew I wanted a female assassin, and I wanted to set the story in a Medieval-like world. Foxwick built from that idea as well as Umbria. She told me she was a princess and how she watched her mother and father brutally murdered. She became an assassin, so no one would ever harm her again. She would do anything for her brother—even kill Death.
She still remains one of my favorites. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd look what she started!
ReplyDeleteCool! I love the kick-butt kind of ladies!
ReplyDeleteDid you know your A-Z challenge when you wrote your book? Perfect choice for U.
